REQUESTS AND CUSTOMIZATIONS

REQUESTS

We do entertain requests from our customers and will try our best to fulfill them.

Currently the only requests we are taking in are for customers who prefer identical sides of the earring and for those who would like to change the hook to 925 Silver.

This applies when a customer sees a side that he/she likes on the available O.S.S range and would like an identical partner to it.

We will try to reproduce the identical side ONLY for that customer as that particular design is exclusive only for that one customer.

We will charge the 2nd earring made accordingly.


Prices for a remake side might not necessarily be the same as the first side due to changes in material prices.


As for the Parts change into 925 Silver, we will see whether it will be possible. The price after the modification WILL be different.


CUSTOMISATIONS


The only CUSTOMISATIONS we are taking in now from blogshop customers are if the customer wishes to purchase a MATCHING side to the design he/she has chosen from the available O.S.S range and certain modifications to an existing earring on the O.S.S. range.

We will try to process the request as soon as possible.

If you would like to suggest colour themes, preferred materials or length for the customised side, you are very welcome to do so. =)
If not, by default, O.S.S will handle the materials, designing, length and colour of the partner earring.


We will charge the 2nd earring made accordingly.

Prices for a customised side will not be the same as the original side due to difference in materials used and the designing of the earring.


Modifications to an existing earring will be subject to availability of materials and the possibility of modifying it. For this, the customer will need to give the detail of what he/she wants modified.

It can either be:

a) colour scheme
b) removing dangling chains
c) adding dangling chains
d) and others

We will process the Customization order sent in and see whether it is possible to carry out the modification. If not, we will send a reply stating so and asking whether you would still want to carry out the purchase.

If the customer fails to reply by maximum 3 days, and if there is another customer waiting for it, it will be sold to the other customer OR if there are no other customers, the existing customer will have to complete the transaction.

Price of the modified earring will vary.

PROCEDURE

1) First you have to copy and paste the first order form on the side bar and fill it up.

2) After your order form, copy and paste the following and fill it out accordingly.


CUSTOMISATION ORDER FORM

a) Type of customisation: (either Identical or Matching side or Modification)
b) Suggestions, if any [only for matching side, compulsory for Modification] : (in terms of colour theme, length, materials)



Finally, send the combined order form and customisation order form to

with the title as: CUSTOMISATION ORDER

We will get back to you within 48 hours on whether we will be able to process your request.

If in any case we are unable to process the request, we will allow the customer to back out of the order ONLY if we receive a notification reply within 48 hours.

If not, the customer will have to buy the side she/he sent in the order for.

REPAIR AND MODIFICATION SERVICES

This section is only for those who have purchased items from Our Secret Stories.

1) Parts replacement

- Discoloured parts
- Broken parts
- Rusting Parts (most probably will not happen)
- Faded Colour


If these are found within ONE WEEK of your purchase, we will be able to replace these parts for FREE. Please be prepared to pay for your own mailing to us if you intend to mail it.

Also, please read the
CARE FOR YOUR ACCESSORIES section to minimise the possibility of any of the above.

If found after more than one week since day which package was mailed to you, please be prepared to pay a small fee, dependent on the parts, for our services and the replacement of parts.


2) Parts Modification

- Changing of Colour Theme
- Changing from Hook to Stud
- Changing Stud type from plain to Jewelled ones

These WILL require a small fee to be paid, dependent on the modification requested. If you would not like to pay this small fee on top of the purchasing of our product, you can instead send in a CUSTOMISATION ORDER.

3) Parts Addition

- Addition of more crystals
- Addition of dangling or connected chains
- Addition of other accessories

These will cost more, a fee will have to be paid, dependent on the addition. If you would not like to pay this small fee on top of the purchasing of our product, you can instead send in a CUSTOMISATION ORDER.


These are all subject to O.S.S's decision and also the possibility of whether it can be done.

CARE FOR YOUR ACCESSORIES

1) Keep your accessories in an enclosed space where there is minimal exposure to the air, especially when there are many silver parts, preferably a jewellery box.

2) Keep your accessories away from water.

3) You can buy a silver polishing cloth or solution to keep in handy especially if you have a number of accessories. It can be used to bring out the shine in your accessories again. (one is not that expensive)

If you do not know where to find this and you wish to purchase it from us, it will be $2.00 for one polishing cloth made in Italy.

4) Do not place your accessories where they are easily crushed or bent.

5) Do not put your accessories near alcohol or alcohol-based products to prevent quick tarnishing.
